AirPods Pro 2: What We Know About the Rumored Apple Earbuds

AirPods were released in 2016 and have been in high demand ever since. It’s no wonder, either, given how Apple products tend to be hard to come by, from the iPhone X, to the original AirPods. If you haven’t been able to get your hands on the first version of AirPods yet (or even if you have), you might be wondering what exactly the AirPods Pro 2 are going to look like when they eventually come out. Here’s everything we know about them so far!

i) Design

The AirPods Pro 2 is rumored to have a completely new design. The biggest change is said to be the addition of a rubber or silicone tip that will help create a better seal in your ear. This will not only improve sound quality, but also make the AirPods more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The new design is also said to be more sweat and water resistant, making them ideal for working out or listening to music in the rain. But as with most rumors, it’s hard to know what’s true until we get an official announcement from Apple. In the meantime, all we can do is wait and hope that our wish list includes at least one of these changes!

Many people are eagerly anticipating some kind of improvement to the current design. When you look at competitor products such as Samsung’s Galaxy Buds and Jabra’s Elite 65t, you’ll notice their main selling point is typically their overall comfort and fit. If Apple wants its product line-up to stay competitive, then improving on these aspects could really boost sales numbers. For many consumers (especially when choosing between different headphones), looks are important too – after all if they aren’t going to look good while they’re sitting on your desk then why would anyone want to buy them? It’s been suggested that the AirPods Pro 2 may include matte black coloring to go along with their Space Gray color option.

And yes, this is very similar to competitor products…but it might just work! Some people believe Apple should stick with glossy white because this choice helps differentiate itself from other brands and maintains brand consistency across devices. Which side are you on? Do you prefer a sleek design that sticks out like a sore thumb, or does style mean nothing if the product isn’t going to offer anything significant improvements over competitors? With so much room for debate, there are plenty of reasons to both love and hate the rumored AirPods Pro 2! It has been speculated that the release date will be sometime next year, which gives us plenty of time to decide whether or not we think Apple needs to step up its game. Personally, I’m holding off on buying any wireless earbuds until I see how the AirPods Pro 2 turn out. It’s always better to wait for something rather than purchase something subpar that you regret later.

iii) Release date

The second-generation AirPods Pro was rumored to be released in 2020, but that didn’t happen. The current rumors suggest that the AirPods Pro 2 will be released in 2021. Here’s what we know about the upcoming earbuds.

The design of the AirPods Pro 2 is said to be similar to that of the current model, with a few minor changes. The biggest change is rumored to be the addition of a new sensor that will allow the earbuds to detect when they’re in your ears and automatically pause playback when they’re removed.

The AirPods Pro 2 are also rumored to feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and improved water resistance. It’s unclear how these features would work on earbuds without physical buttons for controlling volume or skipping tracks.

The battery life for the next generation of AirPods Pro is expected to last up to three hours on a single charge, which should make them more useful for longer workouts than their predecessors. There have been no reports so far about charging speeds or battery life based on other activities like playing games or answering phone calls.

The redesigned wireless charging case is said to offer up to six additional charges before it needs to be plugged in again, which should make it much easier to keep your AirPods charged throughout the day.

iv) Price

The price of the AirPods Pro 2 is rumored to be around $200. This is a significant increase from the original AirPods, which were priced at $159. The increased price is due to the addition of new features, such as noise cancellation and water resistance. If you’re looking for the best possible sound quality, then the AirPods Pro 2 are definitely worth the extra money. However, if you’re on a budget, there are other options available that may be more suitable for you. For example, Bose has recently released their new SoundSport Free wireless earbuds. These earbuds have up to five hours of battery life per charge, and are priced at $199.99. They also offer active noise canceling, meaning they can block out background noises better than most other headphones on the market. In terms of style, these look much different than your typical earbuds; however, this can be seen as both a pro and a con depending on your preferences.

v) Future products

The new AirPods Pro 2 are rumored to be released in late 2020 or early 2021. Here’s what we know about the new earbuds so far…

The AirPods Pro 2 will have a completely new design, made from lightweight materials. They will be smaller and more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The sound quality will be improved, with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode. The battery life is also said to be better, with up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge. The charging case will provide an additional 24 hours of battery life. Lastly, the price is expected to be around $250-$270. It will most likely not come with ear wings like the original AirPods do because this may interfere with the ANC feature.

One of the features I’m most excited about is that it should work even if it’s not paired to my phone. Currently, when I take out one of my AirPods from my ears and put them back in, it takes a few seconds before they’re ready to use again; I won’t have that problem anymore!
